With the exception of 2 years at Ford Motor Company upon graduation with his Masters of Arts and a Masters of Public Administration, George has spent his entire Career in the Downstream sector of the Oil Industry. First with BP Oil and then Ultramar Petroleum which was purchased by Valero Energy. Following those tenures, he set up his own Retail Sales Promotions Company eventually serving 15 Oil Company Groups such as Sunoco, Petro-Canada, Texaco and a host of other regionals throughout North America.
George has also had the pleasure to have major CPG suppliers to the retail petroleum sector as his clients: Coca-Cola, McDonalds, Pepsi, Burger King, Quaker Oats, Castrol and Universal Studios, to name a few, were in his stable of clients for years. Fifteen (15) Years ago, George sold his Company and became an Certified Executive Recruiter serving the Convenience Store sector and have placed professionals with at least 5 dozen groups, all in the U.S. and Canada during that period.
As his hobby, George has lectured on business administration at 3 Universities and lead workshops at the North American Convenience Store Show (NACS) and for the United Nations (UNCTAD). He also won a large Regional Entrepreneurial Contest and Grant Award from the Inter-American Development Bank (IADB -World Bank).
Currently at his job at Executive Leadership Solutions (ELS) involves leading NBD efforts including Convenience Retail Accounts, Motor Oils and Car Washes plus Suppliers to the retail C-store industry.
