THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY:
The Store Manager will lead the profitable growth of the store location with the strategic direction and tasks provided by an engaged corporate support staff.
You will will develop and lead a team to ensure high store standards of operation and service are met or exceeded for each customer.
Role model great service and demonstrate your enthusiasm to delight store customers.
This role requires strong leadership, a deep understanding of grocery retail operations, and a commitment to maintaining the high standards and community values that define the brand.
Oversee all store departments (Grocery, Produce, Meat, Deli, Bakery, Front-End, and Prepared Foods).
Ensure compliance with company policies, health regulations, and safety standards.
Monitor inventory levels, order accuracy, and stock rotation to reduce waste and shrink.
Manage P&L performance, labor budgets, and cost controls to maximize profitability.
Approve vendor invoices, verify deliveries, and oversee cash-handling procedures.
Recruit, train, and develop department managers and associates.
Conduct performance reviews, set goals, and foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture.
Represent the company in the community as a trusted local supermarket.
BACKGROUND PROFILE:
Minimum of 5 years of management experience in grocery retail.
Bi-ligual in English/Spanish preferred.
Demonstrate a personal and enthusiastic commitment to the vision, mission, values, and strategies of the company. You want your community to live better.
