Pricebook Coordinator (Remote)
Location: Remote (U.S. based)
Position Summary
Our Client’s brand isn’t just a clever name—it’s a promise to keep our communities well-stocked, on-the-go, and running smoothly.
As Pricebook Coordinator, you’ll play a key support role in keeping our pricebook clean, accurate, and up to date across our 25+ convenience store locations.
You’ll help manage item setups, monitor cost changes, verify vendor files, and assist with promo uploads, basically, the details that make the difference between a frustrating POS experience and a smooth one. If you’re detail-oriented, Excel-curious, and love checking things off a list, this might be your spot.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with item setup, vendor uploads, and price changes in the back-office system (e.g., Petrosoft (current back-office system), PDI, or similar).
Review and process new item forms, vendor updates, and cost changes.
Ensure accurate UPC data, pricing, taxes, and category assignments across all SKUs.
Monitor reports for errors, duplicates, or missing information.
Upload and schedule promotions, discounts, or loyalty pricing in coordination with the Category team.
Support pricebook audits and cleanup projects.
Communicate with vendors and store managers to resolve price or scanning issues.
Help prepare weekly/monthly item-level reports or error logs for leadership.
Assist in store onboarding for new locations and pricebook migrations.
Keep internal item tracking documents and naming conventions updated and tidy.
What We’re Looking For:
1–2 years of experience in retail, admin, data entry, or back-office systems (convenience or grocery is a bonus).
Comfortable with Excel / Google Sheets (vlookup, filtering, sorting—you don’t have to code, but you should be curious).
Highly organized and detail-obsessed.
Excellent follow-through, ensuring small things don’t slide.
A team player who can work independently but knows when to ask questions.
Able to work across systems and multitask between vendors, SKUs, and stores.
Clear communicator, especially in email and spreadsheets.
Interest in growing into a full pricebook or category role over time.
Experience with Petrosoft, PDI, CPG, SSCS, or back-office systems is a plus (but we’ll train the right person).
Compensation & Perks
Salary commensurate with experience.
Bonus eligibility based on accuracy and performance.
PTO, health/dental, and company holidays.
Remote-first role with optional travel to team meetings or store launches.
Opportunity for advancement into pricebook, category, or analytics roles.
