Applications Engineering Manager – This Engineer is responsible for the creation, development, and maintenance of company's product line and the development of new products and processes that will meet future customer and market requirements.

THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY:
Lead and Manage Design Team: FMEA’s with cross-functional groups including Logistics, Manufacturing, Product Engineering, Purchasing, Quality, Suppliers and Tooling/Fixtures
Coordinates all engineering activities and improvement efforts with in the engineering department.
Create and reconcile production standards utilizing work measurement techniques such as time/motion studies, work content studies, etc.
Responsible for the development of new technology to support future engine cooling and air conditioning technologies.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, preferably mechanical engineering: MBA is highly preferred.
Must demonstrate a strong ability to design engine cooling and air conditioning components and have extensive knowledge in the physics of heat transfer and fluid flow phenomenon as applied to vehicles.
Experience in sheet metal design and weldments.
5 or More Years' Management Experience Necessary, Especially in Design. Experience with CREO a MUST.
A strong understanding of production methods and the concept of design for manufacturing. Should possess a background in designing product for the processes of metal stampings, forming rolls and brazing as well as the application of aluminum and steel braze alloys.
