Petroleum Equipment Service Technician
The Company:
Our client is the leading US petroleum contractor for petroleum dispensing equipment. This company is firmly established with a solid market position and reputation as an award-winning petroleum systems firm – servicing 19+ states and specializing in the construction and servicing of fleet fueling facilities, aviation, retail service stations, convenience stores, marinas. They are currently expanding their team and seeking a skilled Service Technician with hands-on experience in equipment from manufacturers such as Wayne, Veeder-Root, OMNTEC, Pneumercator, Simplex (fuel polishers), Gasboy, Bennett, and FuelMaster.
Position Overview:As a Petroleum Equipment Service Technician, you will be responsible for the repair, maintenance, and diagnostics of UST/AST system components at retail and commercial fueling sites. This includes working with a wide range of equipment, from dispensers and pumps to fuel management systems and leak detection technology.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of equipment such as:
Fuel dispensers (Wayne, Gasboy, Bennett)
Tank monitoring and leak detection systems (Veeder-Root, OMNTEC, Pneumercator)
Fuel polishers (Simplex)
Dispenser tracking/usage systems (FuelMaster)
Controllers, POS consoles, printers
Tanks, piping, valves, compressors, filters
Electrical systems and lighting
Diagnose system issues and implement effective solutions
Provide outstanding on-site customer service
Maintain clear documentation of service activities
Participate in on-call rotation and respond to emergency service calls as needed
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience servicing petroleum equipment
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Customer-focused with a proactive and positive attitude
Able to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and systems
