Director of Supply and Logistics
As the Director of Supply and Logistics you will be a hands-on leader responsible for ensuring supply to 700+ branded/unbranded locations and supply accounts.
You will leverage your broad experience and deep understanding of fuel logistics, supply and pricing, including variables which affect supply and price, to be successful, Effective interaction with fuel suppliers, and carriers is a must.
Responsibilities:
Possess deep understanding of pricing models.
Understand shipping, trucking and inventory management of Petroleum Products
Ability to negotiate and procure petroleum products from the most profitable source.
Oversee, manage and review all petroleum product proposals, benchmark reports, supply agreements, and other reports pertaining to petroleum activities.
Must stay current with all regulations (Federal, State, Regional, Local) which dictate fuel requirements and uses
Background Profile:
Proven success in fuel supply and logistics
Knowledge of unbranded supply contracts
Ability to lead a team
Data/Reporting focused
Knowledge of and relationships with various carriers throughout the eastern half of the country
