Our client is seeking a Maintenance Operations Manager in their Spring Hill, TN Office.
POSITION OVERVIEW
Responsible for the overall landscape construction management ensuring all quality standards to achieve customer satisfaction along with enforcing a strong safety culture through daily leadership, communication, and behavior
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
OPERATIONAL MANAGEMENT
Oversees multiple crews, to include the allocation of work, problem resolution, and technical support
Oversees the production and completion of site work to ensure deadlines are met
Focuses on ways to improve efficiencies, solve problems, and overcome barriers to ensure operational success
Maintains a clean and safe work site including proper maintenance and care of all company equipment
Manages snow activities to include on-site management as well as post-event responsibilities
SALES, PRODUCTION, AND REPORTING
Reviews estimates for jobs based on labor, job demands, and current pricing
Ensures the accuracy of employee’s time entry and daily work logs for payroll processing
TEAM MANAGEMENT
Assists in the hiring of crew leaders and technicians
Provides leadership through coaching, evaluating, conducting disciplinary action meetings, and conflict resolution of crew members
Mentors the operations team members to improve employee competency and job satisfaction
Demonstrates a positive role model for all employees by reinforcing best practices and branch culture
Provides oversight of operations and training related to equipment, landscape design, and flower design
Promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices
Position may perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 5+ years landscape or construction industry experience required
Minimum of 5+ years of leadership or supervisory experience required
WORKING CONDITIONS AND EMPLOYMENT STATUS WORK ENVIRONMENT
Outdoor conditions & Extended work hours during peak seasons
Requires moderate physical activity performing activities of a productive and technical nature; regular exposure to outdoor weather conditions of extreme heat and extreme cold; potential exposure to loud noise; potential exposure to air pollution, allergens, dust, pollen, insects, and other potentially harmful naturally occurring hazards; continuous exposure to moving mechanical parts and sharp object
Compensation & Benefits: Salary plus Commission/Bonus, Company Car & Gas Card, 401K 100% match up to 4% and Employer pays 100% of Employee's Medical Benefits.
