Medical Insurance- Our current policy is through United Healthcare (UHC). The Group Plan has a $9,000.00 family and $3,000.00 single annual deductible. With the family plan there is an embedded deductible limit amount of $3,000.00 per family member per calendar year. The company will pay 70% of the cost of the employee’s medical premium. Dependent coverage is available with the employee paying all dependent costs.
Other Insurances – Dental, vision, disability and supplemental coverage is available with all premiums paid by the employee through payroll deductions. Dependent coverage is available.
Health coverages becomes available the first of the month following 60 days of full-time employment.
401(k) – The Company offers a 401(k)-plan administered through Oasis/Paychex that has a variety of different funds available. The Company at its discretion each year can elect to contribute up to a 3% employer match.
401(k) elections become available the first of the month following 6 months of employment.
Paid Time Off (PTO) – 15 Days per year. (Accrual time begins 1st day of employment at a rate of 1.25 days per calendar month). Employees are eligible to use PTO time following six (6) months of full-time employment.

Life Insurance – The Company provides a life insurance policy equal to 1X an employee’s salary.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides inspection services for onsite locations.
Plans and coordinates all field inspection activities.
Observes work in progress to ensure conformance with specifications.
Examines workmanship of finished installations for conformity to standards.
Maintains daily/weekly/monthly reports of construction inspection activities.
Manages periodic contractor performance meetings.
Prepares and delivers periodic client/government briefings.
Prepares sketches of construction installations that deviate from plans and incorporates changes into master plans.
Oversees total construction effort to ensure project is constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule. Includes interfacing with client representatives, A/E representatives, subcontractors, and security forces.
Inspects equipment operation and material on the job site. Interprets specifications as related to materials and workmanship.
Assist’s government with support for change orders and pay requests.
Assists with implementation/interpretation of safety programs.
Provides direction to planning, scheduling, and engineering functions as required.
Performs quality assurance, control process, and procedural activities.
Observation of batch plant erection and calibration.
Inspection of paver calibration.
Any other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Lab testing is by independent third party.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:
Senior Level Pavement Inspector – minimum 10 years’ experience using construction practices – means and methods, procedures, and testing under UFGS standards and specifications, to include three (3) years of quality management of DoD construction projects with 5 years of airfield PCC pavement construction experience; or a person without a degree with a minimum of 20 years of experience as project superintendent in airfield PCC pavement work. Experience will include batch plant inspection, concrete mixture optimization, and concrete testing procedures.
A degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or applicable field experience related to site work.
Preferred experience in site civil construction values of at least US $5 million.
Quality Control Management Course conducted by the US Army Corps of Engineers or an independent private company accreditation within the last five (5) years; Company will sponsor training if needed.
Ability to work outdoors for a 10-hour day, 5 to 6 days a week depending upon contractor’s schedule.
Must be a US citizen and capable of passing US security background checks; due to US military contract requirements, dual-citizenship and non-US citizens are not permissible.
Ability to travel and work at domestic and international project sites.
Travel Information:
Extensive domestic travel!! Typically, will be flown home every 6 weeks to see family. Travel is mainly in the east of the US working on the CSX (intermodel facilities) from Maine to Florida. If there is a project near where the candidate lives, Tigerbrain will try to accommodate, and if they are close enough they can go home during the weekends. All travel epenses will be paid, air fare, hotel, company card. Food is paid by GSA per diem. Intertnational is voluntary only.
