THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY:
The Line Tech position is part of the manufacturing team and will oversee the overall operation and manage the personnel and schedule of assigned machining lines.
Possesses and maintains advanced technical knowledge of our machine operation, tooling, and setup operations.
Leads and maintains a clean and safe work environment at all times; this includes helping with 6s activities on occasion. Works with the safety department to record, document, and fix any unsafe conditions.
Manages day to day planning, operations, and problem solving to maximize production and product flow.
Maintain high functioning working relationships with team members and communicates effectively across different work centers, shifts, and skill levels to aid or improve Safety, Quality, Schedule, and Cost.
Actively and continually oversees the training, development, and follow-up of new or existing loaders to enhance their skills sets and build a stronger team. Recommends and communicates corrective action with personnel not meeting standards.

BACKGROUND PROFILE:
High school diploma or equivalent
Must possess intermediate computer skills
Reading, writing, problem solving, and mechanical skills
The ability to teach and train others as needed
Individual must be able to work with little to no supervision after initial training period, showing a high degree of initiative, self-motivation, and excellent work ethic.
