Key Responsibilities:
Account Management and Business Development: Provide outstanding customer service, sales support, and training to assigned accounts. Identify new opportunities and propose solutions to drive business growth.
Field Work: Collaborate with customer representatives by visiting their headquarters and conducting field visits.
Collaborative Approach: Work closely with various departments to enhance efficiency and deliver exceptional customer service.
Market Analysis: Gather market data, including competitor pricing, programs, and promotions. Devise and execute strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
Goal Achievement: Exceed sales targets by creating action plans aligned with divisional market strategies.
Customer Relations: Address customer concerns and needs promptly and effectively. Foster mutually rewarding partnerships with customers.
Resource Coordination: Manage associate resources to support business development and promotions.
Proposal Generation: Create program proposals and action plans based on marketing strategies.
Communication: Keep customers informed of pricing and product changes as needed.
Account Receivables: Support the collection of past-due customer accounts.
Market Research: Assist in technical market research and the development of new business expansion strategies.
Reporting: Follow company policies and procedures to report activities, issues, and results to the Division Manager and relevant department heads.
Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends through educational opportunities, training, publications, industry events, and networking.
Qualifications:
Education: BA/BS degree in a technical field, business, marketing, or sales preferred.
Certifications: Certified Lubricants Specialist certification is a plus.
Experience: 5-7 years of sales experience, with at least 5 years in account management, preferably in automotive lubricants or aftermarket distributor experience.
