Our client is a well-established company in the Automotive and Industrial Lubricants industries. A manufacturer of finished lubricants for a variety of applications including the automotive and industrial markets. Current customers include all OEMs for both service and/or factory fill lubricants. As an ISO 9001:2000, ISO/TS 16949, ISO 14001 and Q1 certified company, our clients focus is on the customer and on providing the highest quality lubricants available in the industry.
Minimum Requirements
Education
High School Diploma or GED
BA/BS (technical degree/business/marketing/sales) or equivalent experience preferred
Experience
2-3 years Sales, PCMO – 2-3 years OES OEM’s -3 years Automotive Distribution
2-3 years Automotive Dealerships (OEM parts and/or service field sales and support)
Job Knowledge/Special Skills/Abilities
Able to use computers with capability in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), CRM (Salesforce), and email (Outlook). Overall good PC skills.
Solid written & verbal communication skills. Able to communicate clearly and concisely to internal and external shareholders.
Good product knowledge with engine oils, transmission fluids, power steering fluids, compressor oils, and lubrication storage to include dispensing and tracking equipment.
Able to process information logically and understand and follow ethical business practices.
Must have a strong customer service attitude while working as a team player, along with the ability to work professionally with customers and vendors.
General knowledge of dealership operations; how dealerships make money. Knowledge of the essential functions for each dealership department: sales, finance, service and parts departments – how these department operate and influence each other within a dealership setting.
Sales tools knowledge. Able to understand sales reports and accounts receivable management.
Able to meet deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong business, organizational, planning, and project management skills. Strong sales skills.
Able to conduct product and program presentations in PowerPoint with customers.
Able to develop and maintain good customer relationships.
Able to effectively work in a multi-cultural work environment.
Able to adapt to a consensus-based decision making management style.
