Job Description:
As a Financial Analyst with our client, you will be a key contributor to the financial planning and analysis efforts as they prepare for add'l growth. You will work closely with C-level, VP level, senior management and cross-functional teams to provide financial insights, support decision-making, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain detailed financial models to support strategic decision-making.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with department heads to create and manage budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans that align with the company’s growth objectives.
Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP and SEC regulations.
Risk Management: Identify and assess financial risks, providing recommendations for mitigating potential issues and correcting negative trend.
Market Research: Conduct market and competitor analysis to inform strategic decisions.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and enhance reporting systems in preparation for growth plan.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (MBA or CFA preferred).
3-5 years of experience in financial analysis, investment banking, or a related field, with experience in mergers & acquisitions, highly desirable
Strong understanding of financial statements, GAAP, and Cash Reconciliation
Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and Excel; experience with Netsuite financial software is a must
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and compliance.
Experience in Retail/Restaurant/Oil & Gas Industry is a plus.
