Position:
The main focus of the District Manager is to lead Store Managers (SMs) in the operation of our brand-new, state-of-the-art express tunnel car washes and responsible
for upholding the high standards of all team members under their supervision. The District Manager provides strategic direction for the team and acts as the primary
support for the SMs in their designated area.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Leadership: Mentors all positions within their operational area to ensure high engagement and success; Maintains responsiveness and accessibility for the
development of all operational team members.
Maintain Culture: Support, reinforce, and align decisions with Company’s Core Values.
Training and Development: Trains and develops SMs; manages career expectations for the store-level management team; conveys standards.
Ensures a constant pipeline of credible and competent managers is readily available.
Operational Assistance: Assists SMs to ensure car washes are delivering the Company’s Standard with exceptional Customer Experience and Quality.
Leverage Support: Utilize support functions to identify and mitigate any needs in current business quality. Manage expectations of Support Managers in the
planning, development, and execution of operational improvement projects.
Develops and Manages Business Planning Processes: Works with the SMs to develop, implement, and manage a goal-oriented business plan for each
car wash; analyzes external and internal environments to detect where improvements may be made and how those improvements should be implemented.
Manage Strategic Initiatives: Understands and delivers the purpose and requirements of all Company programs. Leads their respective Operational Area in the
execution of these programs.
Financial Accountability: Maintains full responsibility for financial performance directly impacting car wash operations. Oversees the financial performance of
their team of SMs; works with the finance team to analyze individual car washes and the district; makes recommendations for improvements. Accountable to all aspects
of the car wash EBITDA – planning, management, and performance.
Financial Analysis: Analyzes business trends and financial data to assess and improve district performance, both operationally and financially.
Qualifications & Experience:
5+ years’ experience as Multi-Location Manager in the car wash industry with a proven record of success.
Knowledge of the car wash industry, as well as a proven record of attaining KPIs
High school diploma or GED required; 2- or 4-year relevant degree preferred
Career progression in the car wash industry with a record of success in increasing the site volume and revenue or promotions to higher-volume sites.
Knowledge and skills in analyzing profit and loss statements and overall financial performance of the store
Knowledge and skills in staffing, with a proven record of results
Proficient in a variety of technology systems (specifically Microsoft Office, Jolt, DRB, Sonny’s, and Asana), while being able to adapt to new systems easily
Additional Requirements:
Ability to lead, motivate, and empower managers to higher levels of performance
Ability to align with Company Culture by balancing seriousness and having fun
Ability to manage basic tasks and fiscal operations for a District
Takes initiative in solving operational and personnel problems quickly
Has excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to measure performance, objectively and subjectively as well as hold team members accountable for meeting desired performance expectations
May be required to lift, carry, push, or pull heavy objects up to fifty pounds; kneel, bend or stoop, ascend or descend stairs; reach and grasp objects
