Operations Manager – Regional Landscaping Company
Regional Landscaping Company that prides itself on great commercial landscape and irrigation installations and premier commercial landscape management for premier and high-end commercial properties in the Greater Huntsville, AL Area.
The Operations Manager is responsible for:
Managing all field operations and crews within a large regional Landscaping Company.
Coordinates the procurement and scheduled use of resources, including labor, equipment and materials to ensure maximum use and completion of contract maintenance work within budget, safety guidelines and company quality standards.
Promotes the growth and development of field staff and assists them in carrying out their responsibilities as needed.
Reviews estimates for jobs based on labor, job demands and current pricing.
Ensures the accuracy of employee's time entry and daily work logs for payroll processing.
Assists in hiring crew leaders and technicians.
Demonstrates leadership and mentoring to the operations team members to improve employee competency and job satisfaction.
Positive role model for employees by reinforcing best practices, displaying business acumen and top down branch culture.
Knowledge & Experience:
5+ years landscape or construction industry experience required
3+ years of successful leadership or supervisory experience
Fluent in Spanish preferred
