AREA MANAGER – FRANCHISE CONVENIENCE STORES
Position: The Area Manager has oversight of a group of 12+ retail franchise stores.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the operations of franchised facilities and stores – advise and consult with Franchisees.
Protect the company assets: cash, property, equipment, and inventory.
Promote and ensure that stores operate in accordance with the company’s values, procedures, brand equity, and image excellence.
Recruit, screen, evaluate, and place Franchisees for the company.
Provide education, consulting, and mentoring for Franchisees in all aspects of successful business and store operations.
Promote outstanding customer service through education, feedback, and support.
Serve as a liaison and communicate information between the Executive Management and Franchisees.
Set priorities, manage time, and maintain professional attitude and behavior.
Requirements:
MUST HAVE Convenience Store Franchise experience, as well as sales and merchandising experience and skills.
Successful candidates will have strong experience and skills in the following areas: people development, business and retail management, customer service,
recruiting and selection, and sales and merchandising.
Successful candidates will have the utmost integrity, a strong work ethic, and a positive attitude and outlook.
Must be goal-oriented with good time management and organizational skills, be customer-service oriented, able to work independently while being part of a team,
be detail-oriented, value diversity, and have excellent communication skills.
Must have good self-control, be able to handle stress, and be professional in everything they do.
Must be available for Franchisees' concerns/questions 24 hours/7 days a week.
