Our Client is on the lookout for a skilled Diesel Mechanic to oversee maintenance for a diverse vehicle fleet, including light-duty diesel engines, small tractors, skid steers, and custom mobile drill rigs. This crucial role involves conducting routine maintenance, minor repairs, oil and filter changes, lubrications, and electrical system upkeep, from alternators to safety lighting.
Clean driving record with the ability to operate all company vehicles.
CDL Class A license preferred; training provided if necessary.
Extensive international travel to support company operations worldwide, including expeditionary and sometimes undisclosed locations.
Ability to pass DoD background checks for projects related to the Department of Defense, rail lines, and the seaport industry.
US citizenship required, with all necessary vaccinations for travel.
The position is a full-time hourly role, including overtime pay with comprehensive travel support covering lodging, transportation, and a GSA per diem for meals and incidentals.
