Reports to: President
Based in Las Vegas, NV the Division Manager of Wholesale Operations is responsible for managing and supporting Wholesale Dealer network through sales and marketing initiatives and processes. Responsible for the overall supply of branded and unbranded fuels and managing supplier relationships. Ultimately accountable for the profitability of the Wholesale Business Unit.
Primary Responsibilities
Manages and oversees all Wholesale Territory Managers, dealing with customer relations, including but not limited to credit, collection, image, marketing programs and individual location profitability.
Oversees the rack sales function directly and ensures compliance with company objectives in terms of volume, profitability and credit risk.
Oversees the supply and pricing of fuels and ensures overall compliance with volume and profitability targets.
Identifies geographic areas for expansion and organic growth
Seeks growth opportunities through individual location or acquisitions.
Facilitates all supplier programs, including but not limited to advertisement, image, Co-op and building incentives.
Utilizes industry knowledge and connections to recruit top talent to support business unit growth plans.
Ensures proper expenditure and allocation of company funds.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Supervises the Supply & Logistics and Territory Management team. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies, procedures, and applicable employment and labor laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing and resolving any complaints and/or issues.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree or M.B.A. preferred
A minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible, supervisory-level Wholesale sales and marketing experience
Experience in a retail, C-Store, and/or fuel/petroleum environments is required
Or any equivalent combination of education and experience in job-related activities
