IT SYSTEMS SPECIALIST
****Must have Car Wash Industry IT Systems (ICS) Experience****
Our client is a rapidly growing car wash operator with 50+ locations in the Northeast US.
POSITION:
The IT Systems Manager is responsible for the technology, maintenance, networking, security, and overall IT stability of the organization. We are looking for a highly motivated
individual who will build rapport with customers, solve problems, and enjoy learning in a dynamic environment. This position will require up to 25% travel to visit sites.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide world-class technical support for our Headquarters and remote staff
• Work independently, taking ownership of issues and escalating when needed
• Create documentation and user guides
• Up to 25% travel is required with in the area (own reliable transportation is a must)
• Performs onsite installation of IT equipment (desktop, routers, kiosks, IT Cabinets, etc.)
• Contributes to ongoing efforts to improve policies and procedures
• Completes projects assigned, including but not limited to in house POS equipment setup, site
requests, writing of product documentation, and testing of equipment
• Performs other duties as assigned
Address issues with our ISP
Maintain the organizations surveillance system
Implement a P/M program for the sites various electronic components
Field all POS related technical calls from the sites
Based on POS field calls, be the main point of contact for support team.
Maintain company's POS. system hardware/software
Establish and maintain an inventory of back up IT & POS hardware
Be Proactive in suggesting and establishing systems and procedures to increase the companies efficiencies and ability to grow.
Assist with all general IT tasks throughout the company, and determine if specific tasks need to be outsourced to the “high level” contracted IT vendor
Program all promotional items within POS and create new profiles to address the various marketing campaigns, specials, and promos offered throughout the organization.
Set up and maintain all house and fleet accounts to ensure proper handling of their services, pricing and billing.
Set up and maintain the proper security levels within DRB ensuring only the correct personnel have access to certain areas reducing the chances of programming errors and theft.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Available to work on-call hours including before/after business hours & weekends

Have a basic knowledge of car wash equipment
Have knowledge of basic installation of POS equipment and office equipment.
Must have excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, and the ability to perform work with minimal or no supervision or assistance
Strong work ethic and professional attitude
REQUIREMENTS:
Some college preferred, but not required.
3-5 years with Car Wash Industry POS systems.
1-3 years Database management required.
Unexpired Driver’s License is required. (A motor vehicle record check “MVR” will be run before starting the position).
