Sandblaster
Position Overview
Remove paint, rust, and other material build-ups from rough surfaces using specialized equipment that sprays abrasive materials. The material is typically a mixture of coarse sand and compressed air. High pressure forces the mixture through a hose to smooth or clean the surface.
Essential Job Functions
Remove dirt, paint, grease, and other built-up material from surfaces
Set up and operate a blast booth or similar equipment
Load and unload the blast cabinet
Assist with painting or coating as needed
Apply and remove non-skid materials as needed
All other duties as assigned
Standards: NACE and SSPC

Required Qualifications
High School Diploma, or equivalent, is required.
At least one year’s experience sandblasting
