Service Station Equipment Sales Representative
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced sales professional to join their team as a Petroleum Equipment and EV Charging Stations Sales Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales of petroleum equipment and electric vehicle (EV) charging stations to various clients, particularly fleet operators and commercial facilities. You will play a crucial role in expanding product offerings to meet the evolving needs of the energy industry and the growing demand for sustainable transportation solutions.
Sales Generation: Identify, prospect, and cultivate new business opportunities within the petroleum equipment and EV charging stations sector. Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of potential clients.
Consultative Selling: Engage with prospective clients to understand their specific requirements and tailor solutions that best address their needs. Provide expert advice on petroleum equipment and EV charging infrastructure, highlighting the benefits and features of our products.
Product Knowledge: Maintain an in-depth understanding of our petroleum equipment and EV charging stations product lines, including technical specifications, installation procedures, and maintenance requirements. Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements.
Solution Presentations: Conduct engaging product demonstrations and presentations, both in-person and virtually, to showcase the advantages of our solutions. Effectively communicate the value proposition of our products to a diverse range of stakeholders.
Proposal Development: Prepare and deliver comprehensive sales proposals that outline the scope, benefits, and financial considerations of our products. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and compelling proposals.
Relationship Building: Establish and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in the petroleum and energy industries. Leverage these relationships to drive business growth and foster long-term partnerships.
Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory developments related to petroleum equipment and EV charging stations. Provide insights and recommendations to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
Sales Targets: Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and revenue objectives on a consistent basis. Track sales metrics, analyze performance data, and adjust strategies as needed to ensure success.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, engineering, and customer support, to coordinate efforts and ensure seamless customer experiences throughout the sales cycle.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field. Relevant certifications are a plus.
Proven track record of successful B2B sales experience, preferably in the petroleum equipment, energy, or technology sectors.
Familiarity with petroleum equipment and/or EV charging station technologies, industry standards, and regulations.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and persuasively.
Exceptional negotiation and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and secure partnerships.
Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
A valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events.
