Overview
The General Manager, under the supervision of the District Maager, oversees a Hardee's location. The GM ensures the overall store conditions complies with an brands standards including but not limited to: cleanliness, food safety, customer service and merchandising, thereby maximizing sales, profits and EBITDA.
Responsibilities
Manage sales and operations of Hardee's location.
Maintain a high level of customer service through daily interactions with customers, team members, and vendors.
Recruit, hire, train and mentor the staff for your location.
Oversee adherence to all procedures and standards, ensuring the successful daily operations and sanitation requirements.
Control variable expenses and oversee labor and payroll budgets.
Monthly review of the profit and loss statement with District Maager.
Serve as a key player in loss prevention, internal theft and inventory shrink.
Complete daily paperwork and computer entry in a timely manner as established by management.
Ensure execution of the safety, security and operations policies and procedures.
Ensures succession planning is an ongoing focus for proper staffing of current and future restaurants and development of all employees
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required
QSR restaurant management experience required OR QSR restaurant within travel center/truck stop environmebt
3-5 years of experience supervising others required, preferably in the fast food, restaurant, or retail operations field
Must have a valid driver’s license
Successful completion of Hardee's training – can/will occur after placed in position
ServSafe Proctor/Instructor Certified
Must be at least 21 years’ old
Computer literate with experience in Microsoft Office
