Position Title: Pricebook Manager
Job Purpose: The purpose of this job is to administer and monitor the Price Book data for all categories. The Pricebook Manager will work with the Marketing team and maintain pricebook and rebate management systems. The Pricebook Manager is required to be customer-focused and capable of partnering with cross-functional teams (ie. Accounting, Finance, Operations, Retail Stores) to surpass financial objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Establish a deep understanding of business, internal processes, and overall assortment.
Monitor and respond to issues daily; ensure resolution of store concerns including questions on item pricing
Assist with new store setup by entering data into Price Book and coordinating with marketing team and other cross functional teams.
Collaborate with marketing team, pricebook coordinator and stores to implement merchandising support materials related to Price Book projects
Maintain product database and back office product information with accurate cost details and up to date retails
Create full calendar promotion plan set by Marketing team and work independently to track promotional accruals and billbacks
Consolidate weekly, monthly and quarterly report for internal and external stakeholders
Monitor performance across multiple classes and locations and analyze data to create initiatives
Perform any other duties that are assigned that support the continued success of the Price Book team.
Skills/Qualifications:
Associate Degree in business, marketing or related field preferred
At least 2-3 years of related experience strongly preferred.
Retail/Gas station/convenience store experience preferred
An analytical mind with a strategic ability and understanding of data analysis
Knowledge of Accounting, Financial Planning or Merchandising is a plus
Capable of taking initiative, ownership and accountability for the business
Proficient in MS Office
