Job Title: Vice President and Corporate Controller

Position Description:
The Corporate Controller will lead all Accounting operations for the company and be supported by three Controllers along with a team of 25 people. This position oversees accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems, and ensures compliance with appropriate GAAP standards, lender reporting, and regulatory requirements. The Controller has functional responsibility over GL accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, cash management, fuel, retail, and tax accounting. The Controller ensures that systems and procedures are in place to support transparent management information, efficient and effective accounting operations, and minimal adjustments during tax reviews and audits. In addition, the Controller works towards achieving better integration across all functional areas in the company.
Background Profile:
Bachelor Degree in accounting or finance or equivalent business experience
CPA/MBA preferred
Convenience retail / fuel experience using PDI/Enterprise is a must
Extensive acquisition integration experience required
Significant experience managing people
Knowledge of and skill in using MS office suite
Essential Job Functions:
Consistently analyzes accounting data to ensure material accuracy
Maintains internal control and safeguards assets and expenditures
Coordinates audit and tax activity with CPA firm and internally
Ensures cash is properly stated and controlled
Understands and continually improves all departmental processes
