THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY:
Responsible for leading a team of 8-10.
The Director establishes and maintains professional relationships with commodity industry experts and suppliers to identify opportunities for enhanced procurement strategies and partnerships. Work with the Senior Director of Commodities to ensure execution of commodity risk management.
Report directly to Senior Vice President, Fresh.
BACKGROUND PROFILE:
Bachelor's Degree in related field, MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Minimum of 10 years purchasing or category management experience
Previous experience in Deli, Bakery or Foodservice is required
Public speaking/presentation skills
Ability and/or experience with commodity price analysis
