Lab Technician – Greater New Haven, CT Area
Growing renewable specialty chemical company is seeking a highly qualified Laboratory Technician. This individual will be responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of laboratory instruments and equipment. He / she will also perform and assist in the testing, analysis and evaluation of new and existing products. He/ She must be hands on and thrive in a fast paced, fluid environment.
Bachelor of Science or Associates Degree in Chemistry, Biological Science or related discipline required
Demonstrated experience in a lab environment
Experience conducting analytical work such as titration, DSC, GC, HPLC and TLC
Experience maintaining and organizing laboratory equipment
Must be detail oriented with a commitment to excellence, accuracy, and timeliness.
