Finance Manager – Great New Haven, CT Area
Growing renewable specialty chemical company is seeking a highly qualified Finance Manager. This individual will be responsible for all aspects of financial management, planning and control. He / She must be passionate, self-driven and able to develop strategies that minimize long-term risk. This position can be up to 50% remote.
Bachelor of Science in Accounting or Finance, or related discipline. Masters preferred.
CPA or CMA preferred
5+ years’ experience as a Financial Manager or similar role
Significant knowledge and understanding of financial principles
Ability to perform / supervise timely financial analytics related to monthly close, financial assessment, budgeting, planning
Ability to maintain financial performance by developing operating metrics, analyzing results and trends, providing budget variance feedback, preparing critical measurements, etc.
Experience managing AP / AR
Strong analytical thinker with advanced skill set in Microsoft Excel
