District Manager, Laurel MS
Regionally-based convenience store company in business for over 40 years who prides itself on a top-notch customer service experience. Their stores have an array of food offerings, a house blend of coffee, fountain and packaged beverages, a large selection of groceries, tobacco and alcohol.
The District Manager is responsible for the financial and operational leadership responsibility for 8-10 retail convenience stores. The District Manager supports the company’s goals by focusing on personal accountability, customer service and work efficiency. Primary responsibilities include: analyzing financial statements, merchandise reports and other PDI reports for discrepancies makes recommendations on ways to maximize profit, and corrects problem areas while controlling expenses introduce and implement merchandising programs while maintaining awareness of competitive pricing and a good in-store merchandising image; monitor and report vendor problems such as out-of-stock items and follow-up to ensure improvements are made.
Successful candidates will be high energy leaders with a proven ability to recruit and develop high performance teams.
College Degree preferred
Proven success as a Multi-Unit Retail Manager
Knowledge of Gilbarco and PDI preferred
Food service experience a plus.
