Position Summary:
As the The Director of Food Service you will lead all things food for the company! You will develop innovative food concepts and build successful food programs/items while leading food service. Your responsibilities include leading cross-departmental food efforts to develop new food concepts, create great-tasting new food items, ensure food safety, accelerate sales growth, and measure results to consistently improve our food profitability.
Primary Responsibilities:
Lead Development and Execution of food strategy, working closely with key stake holders to get their input and buy in.
Inspiring, coaching, developing, empowering and holding accountable all members of your team to deliver an exceptional customer experience while developing and sustaining a profitable environment.
Provide leadership to direct reports, including, but not limited to, hiring, training, development, and mentoring.
Determine food strategy in conjunction with key stake holders and develop food products and programs that are simple to execute in our stores and maximize profitability while managing sku rationalization.
Oversee food safety and quality assurance within the organization.
Ensure new marketing campaigns are leveraged to provide awareness of new programs.

Skills:
Significant food service experience in the c-store industry
Ability to develop new food concepts and items
Experience with metrics and benchmarks pertaining to managing P&L budgets.
Experience with commissaries and kitchens
