Growing Specialty Chemical Company Seeks Plant Manager – Greater New Haven, CT Area
Our Client is a specialty chemical company undergoing significant commercial growth. This is a leadership role. He / She will oversee daily operations at the manufacturing facility and will be responsible for safe and effective transfer to manufacturing of new products and the optimization of existing products. He / She must be hands on and thrive in a fast paced, fluid environment.
Bachelor or Master of Science Degree in Mechanical, Chemical or Industrial Engineering or related discipline
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a supervisory or plant management position in a manufacturing environment. 10+ years’ experience highly preferred.
Significant knowledge and experience in the design, installation, commissioning and operations of chemical manufacturing facilities
Successful track record of implementing and maintaining efficient manufacturing processes.
Experience creating and managing operational budgets including capital expenditures.
Ability to manage production and the S&OP processes to meet growing commercial demand as well as to manage plant capacity and identify resources needed to meet and exceed company growth plans.
