Chemical Plant Operator – Greater New Haven, CT Area
Growing renewable specialty chemical company is seeking a highly qualified Chemical Plant Operator. This individual will be responsible for successfully operating, monitoring and troubleshooting manufacturing processes to ensure the safe and efficient running of a manufacturing facility. He/ She must be hands on and thrive in a fast paced, fluid environment.
Successful candidates will have excellent hands-on problem solving skills and a technical aptitude
Previous experience in a manufacturing / general industrial environment
Previous chemical manufacturing or related and / or chemical handling experience highly preferred
Ability to complete a broad range of tasks that might include material handling, truck filling, process control and troubleshooting
The ability to work as a member of a team under time constraints to execute tasks safely, consistently and reliably
Experience using a forklift is a plus
This is an hourly, shift position. Must be willing to work days and nights
