Senior Marketing Specialist-Aftermarket

A manufacturer of finished lubricants for a variety of applications including the automotive and industrial markets. Current customers include all Asian and domestic OEMs for both service and/or factory fill lubricants. Senior Marketing Associate will provide day-to-day support for internal and external Marketing projects as and when requested by the Deputy Division Manager. Selected candidate will also be responsible for tracking all internal and external marketing projects and documenting all project updates using our project management tools.
Essential Functions / Example of Duties:
Provide timely, day-to-day support, for internal marketing tasks and customer account related requests as and when requested by the Division Manager, with special focus on Aftermarket products.
Responsible for tracking marketing projects and documenting project updates using a project management tool
General marketing support including internal approval form and PO coordination and assistance with budget tracking.
Ensure familiarity with internal marketing systems and processes as well as strong understanding of various customer accounts.
Coordinate and assist with understanding the requirements of a particular marketing campaign and writing well-researched creative briefs.
Compile and analyze data to accurately report impact and outcomes of marketing activities where applicable.
Track competitive activity and keep abreast of market changes, ensuring implementation of relevant marketing mix/best practices.
Working with the Division Manager, update product information, including product marketing copy, features and benefits and product data sheets to reflect product changes.
Assist with the maintenance and communication of product positioning documents to ensure consistent product messaging.
Support the marketing team on the launch of new products, tracking and monitoring key dates to ensure deadlines are met.
Support new and on-going label development activities. Ensure all stakeholders have the necessary relevant documentation. Manage the creation of regulatory-approved labels for all branded products.
APPLICANT ATTRIBUTES:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business or Communications (Marketing majors preferred).
Experience:
Must possess a total of 5+ years of experience in a marketing role.
3+ years of experience with project management including marketing campaigns.
3+ years of experience in the Automotive Aftermarket.
Special Skills:
Basic level familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud – preferred
Prior experience with project management tools like Basecamp and automation marketing platforms such as HubSpot is preferred
Past familiarity with using CRM platforms such as Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics is preferred
