Company Information:
Our Client is a leading Travel Center Retailer operating in the Southwest portion of the United States. The company operates approximately 40 sites covering 8 states in the southwest region.Their new concept incorporates fuel, convenience, grocery, hardware and apparel in a single combined facility. This concept is unlike any in the marketplace today. The successful candidate will be responsible for Category Management of a number of key categories. Required skills include analytics, product assortment, buying, merchandising, pricing and promotion.

Position Qualifications / Background:
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience required.
5+ Years of Category Management experience.
Strong analytical skills required – Strong Excel skills (V Lookup, Pivot Tables, etc.)
Experience in convenience store, apparel or small format grocery highly preferred.
Position Responsibilities:
Plan and direct the Company's merchandising programs and financial budgets for the department to develop programs which will result in the achievement of targeted sales and margin.
Direct and maintain accountability for all buying and pricing of products.
Prepare and deliver reports on department performance including pricing, promotion, sales, margin, new programs/products and quality standard.
Partner and collaborate with Store Operations on merchandising strategies, execution expectations as well as evaluation to improve both upstream planning and downstream execution.
