Applications & Formulation Manager – Great New Haven, CT Area
Growing renewable specialty chemical company is seeking a highly qualified Application & Formulation Manager. This individual will create new, innovative raw materials for use in personal care / cosmetic products. He / she will lead the research and development process from formulation creation through manufacturing launch. He / She will manage a team of formulation scientists and must be hands on with proven problem solving and analytical skills.
Masters of Science or PhD in Chemistry, or related discipline
10+ years’ experience in personal care / cosmetic formulation research and development
Significant knowledge and understanding of functional ingredients and clean alternatives
Knowledge in formula scale up and ability to troubleshoot production issues with the quality control department
