The Role:
As a Tank Services Crew Member, you’ll be an essential part of a 2-3 person team, traveling across the southeastern U.S. to repair and modify underground and aboveground tanks. These tanks store a variety of substances, from fuels and wastewater to food products and chemicals. You'll engage in a range of activities, including excavation, cleaning, inspection, and applying protective coatings, all while adhering to strict safety standards. No prior experience in tank repair? No problem! You will be provided comprehensive training to ensure you have all the skills necessary for success.
Responsibilities:
Work as part of a 2-3 person crew, ensuring tasks are completed safely and efficiently.
Travel to various job sites within our service area, approximately 47-48 weeks per year.
Operate and maintain a work truck for job site transportation.
Conduct excavation work, including the use of jackhammers, concrete saws, and hand tools.
Clean tank interiors using pressure washing techniques to prepare surfaces.
Apply epoxy resin coatings to tank interiors.
Utilize measurement devices for inspections and report findings accurately.
Solve problems on-site as they arise and perform additional construction-related duties as needed.
Skills & Qualifications:
Mechanical aptitude is preferred.
Must be a self-starter and capable of working unsupervised.
Effective communication skills for reporting field observations.
Ability to pass employment drug screenings, including random tests.
Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
