The Role You Will Play
The Refrigeration Maintenance Technician, will be part of a team of Technicians in performing repairs and maintaining the stores and distribution center facilities. Complete work orders and apply corrective and preventative measures in a timely manner.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on all HVAC/R systems, electrical equipment, and general building maintenance.
• Install, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair refrigeration rack systems and all related equipment, including walk-in coolers, freezers, cases, and self- contained refrigeration systems.
• Conduct routine inspections of facilities/motor rooms to identify necessary repairs and ensure equipment is in safe working order.
• Collaborate with other maintenance staff to ensure timely resolution of issues and minimal downtime.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals to perform necessary repairs and installations.
• Document all maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and equipment maintenance logs.
• Proficient with computer/mobile phone-based work order systems.
• Respond promptly to emergency repair requests.
Compensation:
Base salary will be $30.00 + depending on experience.
Background Profile
Minimum 3 years Refrigeration Experience
Refrigeration certification (EPA 608 Universal certification preferred)
Ability to diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and control systems
Familiarity with building codes, safety standards, and industry best practices
